Auto Insurance
As consumers, there is no better
reward than finding the best rate on a product you are required to
purchase. California state law requires all drivers on California roadways
to carry at least a minimum auto liability insurance policy. The
State of California requires all drivers to carry compulsory liability
limits of at least $15,000 per person bodily injury, $30,000 total
for bodily injury and $5,000 for property damage liability. Of
course, a driver may purchase higher limits and additional coverage
for an additional premium. Our professional agents can help design
an automobile policy that fits your lifestyle and concerns. |

Lancaster Homeowners Insurance
California laws do not require owners of real
estate to purchase insurance on their homes. However, if your home
has a mortgage, your lender will require you to purchase homeowners
insurance or property insurance on a dwelling as part of your mortgage
agreement. Most Lancaster homeowners always protect their homes and
properties with some form of homeowners insurance. A home is normally
a family's largest investment. Doesn't it make sense to properly cover
your home in the event of a claim? |

Renters Insurance
Millions of Lancaster residents don't actually
own their own home. However, all residents have some type of personal
property that is at risk in the event of a fire, theft or tornado. Even if you don't own your home, or rent an apartment, you should
protect your valuables and assets in the event of a catastrophic claim
or liability suit. Lancaster renters insurance is generally not
an expensive policy to purchase, as the insurance company is only
protecting your contents and valuables. Protect your family and property
today with renters insurance. |

Motorcycle Insurance
Many Lancaster residents have fulfilled a lifelong
dream of owning a motorcycle. Many residents have always been motorcycle
enthusiasts and others choose to commute by motorcycle due to the
rising cost of fuel. No matter what situation fits you, understand
that your motorcycle is not covered under your car insurance or
auto insurance policy. It's not treated as an "additional
vehicle", you must purchase separate insurance for your motorcycle
in Lancaster, as well as the remainder of the state of California. |

Condominium
Insurance in Lancaster
Many Lancaster residents choose to live "condo life" rather
than the traditional "home and garden lifestyle". The
insurance coverage afforded by condominium policies is different than
the coverage afforded under the traditional homeowner insurance policy. Many times, the structure itself is insured under the condominium's
owners association or board. You should check with your condo association
to determine exactly what the master policy covers and what additional
insurance coverages you should purchase to protect your investment. |

their golden years. Many adult children are charged with the responsibility
to care for an ill or aging parent. Failing to plan for this possibility
could prove financially devastating to any family's financial resources. Long term care insurance protects your family against possible financial
devastation should your or a family member become ill or disabled
as you age. Professional agents are beneficial to you. |

Mobile Home Insurance
For many
people, traditional housing may not be a financial reality, particularly
in real estate markets such as Lancaster where the median home price
is very high. Many families invest in a mobile home in an effort
to realize the American dream of home ownership without the large
price tag. Other people may choose a mobile home outside of the
city on a tract of land as a way to "get away from it all". No matter what your situation, mobile home policies are not the
same as traditional homeowner policies. The coverage is different
as far as the perils insured against and how your claim will be
settled in the event of a loss. Our agents can help you with this
process and make your shopping easier. |

Cyber-attack on Defense Department computers raises concerns - Los Angeles Times Reporting from Washington -- Senior military leaders took the exceptional step of briefing President Bush this week on a severe and widespread electronic attack on Defense Department computers that may have originated in Russia -- an incursion that posed unusual concern among commanders and raised potential implications for national security. Defense officials would not describe the extent of damage inflicted on military networks. But they said that the attack struck hard at networks within U.S. Central Command, the headquarters that oversees U.S. involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, and affected computers in combat zones. The attack also penetrated at least one highly protected classified network. Military computers are regularly beset by outside hackers, computer viruses and worms. But defense officials said the most recent attack involved an intrusive piece of malicious software, or "malware," apparently designed specifically to target military networks. "This one was significant; this one got our attention," said one defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity when discussing internal assessments.

NMCB 4 Seabees Rescue Camels : Naval Base Ventura County : Ventura County Star Members of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 construct a ramp on a derailed train boxcar in order to rescue several camels that were onboard. The Seabees of NMCB 4's Alfa Company were notified at 1 pm that a train consisting of 10 cars had derailed. A crew of eight Seabees equipped with builder tool kits, skill saws and plywood, proceeded to the crash site via the detachments maintenance truck and the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) wrecker. When they arrived, it was a chaotic scene. They saw that the train's engine had derailed pulling two other cars off the tracks. When the Seabees approached the train, to their surprise, they discovered that most of the cars cargo were camels. "It was just like a scene out of the movies." said Construction Mechanic 2nd Class (SCW) Justin South. "There was a lot of confusion but I could tell right away when we [Seabees] arrived, that this was still a very dangerous situation." Immediately, Alfa Company went into action, evaluating the situation, and planning a rescue. First and foremost, they had to make the scene safe. The two cars that the engine pulled of the tracks were still very unstable. The crew knew they had to disconnect these two cars from the rest of the train in order to safely rescue the camels. The Seabees constructed and crucially placed shoring to stabilize the engine and to keep the first two cars from rolling over while disconnecting them from the rest of the train. Once disconnected, the Seabees used the MTVR wrecker to tow the remaining cars away from the derailed cars and engine.
Mexican "Stick" Up | NBC Los Angeles The driver didn't have any cash so the thieves took his credit cards. He'll be stuck with the payments. Anadel Carrizales was driving Wednesday near the northern city of Monterrey when a blond woman in a black miniskirt motioned for him to pull over. Once he had stopped, the woman walked up and told him an accomplice was pointing a gun at him, said David Perales, a spokesman for state investigators. She then tied him up with packing tape, super-glued his hands to the steering wheel of his truck and demanded money. Carrizales didn't have any cash, but the woman took his credit cards and fled. "He probably thought it was his lucky day when he saw the woman in the miniskirt, but was surprised when she tied him up," Perales said. With his motor still running and his hands still glued to the wheel, Carrizales managed to drive a few miles (kilometers) down the road until he found a police officer to help him. Emergency officials freed his hands with a saline solution.
